This shoot was perfect mix of modern bridal fashion and timeless English countryside vibes. Think Vogue meets Jane Austen, with a little bit of cool-girl edge thrown in.

We shot it all on a mix of 35mm film and digital, and honestly? The blend just worked. Film gave us that dreamy, nostalgic texture (you’ll know it when you see it, the soft blur, the golden tones, the grit in the grain). Digital gave us those sharp editorial portraits, the crisp dress details, and the freedom to play with light and movement. Together, they tell a story that feels fresh, stylish, and totally romantic.

The Dresses

Two looks. Both gorgeous. Both totally different energies.

The first was all romance: floaty layers of silk organza, soft structure, and a veil that moved. Literally, it caught the breeze in that magical way that makes you stop mid-scroll. It felt effortless, elegant, and full of movement. Perfect for the bride who wants to feel soft and feminine but still elevated.

Then came the second look, sharper, sleeker, and very much for the bride who’s not afraid to make a statement. Clean lines, a square neckline, and that minimalist, almost architectural cut that modern fashion girls live for. Styled with pearl drop earrings and slicked-back hair? A dream.

The Styling

This shoot was all about contrast, classic venue, fresh fashion. We kept the palette soft and neutral, letting the textures do the work: layered tulle, brushed silk, brushed-back hair, delicate florals, and that buttery golden Cotswolds light. It was luxe without trying too hard. Elegant without the fuss. If you’re into weddings that feel editorial but still full of warmth and heart, this vibe is for you.

Film vs Digital? Why Not Both.

There's something about shooting on 35mm that just hits different. The light flares, the skin tones, the tiny imperfections that make a moment feel real. But having digital alongside meant we could shoot quickly, play with angles, and capture those blink-and-you’ll-miss-it in-between moments. It’s the best of both worlds.

And yes, if you're planning your wedding and love the idea of adding film into the mix, I now offer 35mm coverage as an add-on to all wedding packages. (Highly recommend if you want your gallery to feel like a little time capsule.)

Let’s Talk Vibes

This shoot was a love letter to the modern bride. The one who cares about fashion. Who’s drawn to simplicity, detail, and feeling relaxed in front of the camera. The one who wants the photos to feel like her, not staged or over-posed. Just real moments, really beautifully captured.

If you're dreaming up a wedding day that feels like this, elegant but unfussy, stylish but grounded, I'd love to be there.
