35mm Film Photography

There’s a quiet kind of vintage magic in 35mm film. It captures moments with a softness and depth that feels nostalgic, romantic, and real. The tones are rich, the grain is timeless, and each frame carries a feeling that’s hard to describe, but impossible to forget.

Adding film to your wedding day is a beautiful way to elevate your gallery with something truly unique. It doesn’t replace digital, but complements it, bringing in a slower, more intentional way of seeing. From the gentle portraits in golden light, emotional in-between moments, or the fine details of your day, film preserves them with a dreamy, almost cinematic quality.

It’s perfect for couples who love the artistry of photography and want something with a little more character, something that feels like it could’ve been taken yesterday or 30 years ago. These images have a texture and mood that’s impossible to replicate, making them feel like instant heirlooms.

Curious about 35mm Film?

Why Couples Love Film?

Film is unpredictable in the best way, it reacts uniquely to light, movement, and emotion, which means every roll is one-of-a-kind. The imperfections are part of what makes it so beautiful. It adds a sense of artistry and intention that many couples fall in love with.

Can I choose colour or black and white film?

Absolutely! We can chat about your vision for the day. Some couples love the nostalgic feel of black and white, while others prefer the rich, dreamy tones of colour film, or a mix of both!

How long does it take to get my film photos?

You can expect your film images to be delivered along with your full digital gallery within 6–8 weeks after your wedding. Trust me, they're worth the wait!

How many images will I receive from the film rolls?

Each roll usually produces around 24–36 images. Depending on how much of your day you’d like captured on film, I typically shoot between 1-3 rolls.

What if the film doesn’t turn out?

Film is beautifully imperfect, but I use trusted professional labs and shoot in a way that ensures the best results. While film can be unpredictable, I always shoot digital alongside it, so no moments are ever missed.

Does film replace digital coverage?

Not at all. Film is an add-on that enhances your wedding story, it doesn’t replace your full digital gallery. You’ll still receive all the key moments in high-resolution digital, with the added magic of film woven throughout.
